Catch up or ketchup...

Ever hear about the daddy, momma and baby tomato?  They all went on a hike and the baby tomato kept stopping to pick up rocks for his collection and the momma tomato kept calling for the baby to stay with the group. Finally, the daddy tomato swatted the baby tomato on the butt and said, "ketchup!".  

We have been having a blast discovering our local hikes and practicing our packing skills. The boys have also had a lot of fun teaching Kooper how to hike. He is a really good dog and wants to follow the boys everywhere they go. 

One of our favorite hikes lately was the Davis Creek trail. It is steep but the trail follows a small creek up the canyon.  Kyle found a baby rattlesnake!  When we made it up as high as we could go, everyone enjoyed dunking their heads in the cold water--even Kooper--who decided he wanted out of the water as soon as he got in. 

We are planning our return visit to Bountiful peak next week. Anyone want to go?
